Nethercott Funeral Director’s Memory Tree

“To live on in the hearts of those you have loved is not to die.”

The anniversary of any event, whether it is birthdays, wedding anniversaries or key dates is tremendously difficult for anyone who has lost a loved one, but Christmas can be particularly hard. The sense of loss and loneliness can be even more poignant at this time of year.

As in previous years, Chas A Nethercott & Son Ltd. would like to offer any relative or friend the opportunity to remember their loved ones with a personal message on their memory tree.

In the past many of the families they have helped through the years have found this simple act of remembrance a source of comfort.

Nethercotts are offering the service again this year to all bereaved people in Potters Bar and surrounding areas, as a way to express their feelings in a tangible manner.

The tree will be displayed in the window of Nethercott’s office in Darkes Lane, Potters Bar from the beginning of December until the end of the Christmas period. The directors have again chosen to support Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice. If you would like to help us raise money for Noah’s Ark, then memory cards can be collected from Nethercott’s at 150 Darkes Lane, Potters Bar from Monday 15th November 2021 onwards. Our offices are open from 9am until 4pm Monday to Friday.  In you are unable to attend the office in person then please email Nethercott’s at office@nethercott-funerals.co.uk with your messages and the staff will write your message on a card for you and place it on the tree.  For those who may not have access to email, please contact the Nethercott’s office on 01707 652288 and the staff will discuss alternative ways in which they can assist you in remembering your loved one on their tree.

For every loved one remembered in this way the company will donate £3.00 to charity per card.

Moreover, the company guarantees that they will donate at least the same amount of money to Noah’s Ark as last year.

Some members of the public like to leave a donation to Noah’s Ark. If the public would like to make a donation, this year we can accept cash donations in branch, alternatively donations can also be made online via https://www.memorygiving.com/nethercottschristmasmemorytree2021

The tree will be displayed in the window of the office in Darkes Lane, Potters Bar from the beginning of December until the end of the Christmas period.
